The chair’s design explores the natural properties of materials to aid its use. The flexibility of mild steel tube allows for supported movement, while post-consumer recycled HDPE slabs demonstrate hygienic surfaces with unparalleled longevity and durability. Summerday’s frame is hand-rolled locally, whereas the seat and the back have been manufactured from somewhat randomly coloured shredded plastic with non-consistent swirls – so no piece is identical to another, and that’s the beauty of it all. 18mm dia. rolled mild steel tube frame powder coated to Dulux or Interpon colours, 18mm thick HDPE slab back and seat in black, white or Jungle Board colour.
